1. LIMIT ADDED SUGARS:
Foods high in added sugar  can lead to rapid rises in blood sugar levels.  When this happens, the body produces AGEs (advanced glycation end products) which damage collagen.

 

2. LIMIT FRIED FOODS:
Eating foods that lead to rapid rises in blood sugar levels can cause your body to produce AGEs. Interestingly, you can also consume AGEs in your diet. This also leads to skin damage. Foods that have been deep-fried, or grilled at high temperatures, have been shown to contain preformed AGEs.

3. DO NOT CONSUME ANY TRANS FATS:
Factory foods, such as cookies and crackers, may contain trans fats. These chemicals were produced in a laboratory to help food last for years on a shelf. Studies have shown that they are harmful, and complete avoidance of trans fats in the diet is recommended.
